Spend a weekend painting in the Peak District staying at the relaxing and tranquil Sheriff Lodge in Matlock.

Itinerary for Saturday 11.30 to 5.00
Saturday visit a scenic location nearby in the stunning Derbyshire Peak District and sketch - weather permitting* - you can also photograph the scene for reference and paint from your tablet or scenes can be photographed and printed by your tutor Denise and an A4 copy provided on Sunday morning. Once the scene is sketched we return to Sheriff Lodge we will sketch transfer onto canvas or board. Lunch included. Accommodation included Saturday night at Sheriff Lodge, Matlock.

*If the weather is poor, we will work from scenic photographs from the local area on both days.

Itinerary for Sunday 9.00 to 4.30
(Breakfast from 9.00 included)
10.00 - A day painting in the stunning reception room at Sheriff Lodge where we will work on producing you art work under the relaxed and informative instruction of local artist Denise Cliffen. Lunch and afternoon tea provided by your host Ziz at Sheriff Lodge. The workshop will finish at approximately 4.30.

Accommodation included Sunday night at Sheriff Lodge, Matlock.
